LETS Celebrate!
AKA had the honour of attending the Lancashire Excellence in Tourism Skills (LETS) awards 2008 alongside client La Locanda, last week.
As head waiter Emanuele Luciarini was named one of Lancashire's 'most outstanding front line individuals of the year'.
While Emanuele didn't win, it was a great night with a Vegas theme, so a good time was still had by all. We even got to meet Elton John! (Well not quite, but the Pontin's equivalent!).

Great News!
Great News!
AKA was chosen as a finalist in the CIPR PRide Awards, Not for Profit category.The campaign was for our client The Sleep Council.
We will be going for gold against four other PR teams in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire in the CIPR PRide Awards 'Not for Profit' category, which culminates in a prestigious awards ceremony at the Queens Hotel on 5th November in Leeds.
The campaign we entered was for our client the Sleep Council, raising awareness among tennagers about the negative affect of sleep deprivation from health to their performace at school.
Entitled 'Junk Sleep' the campaign ran over the Augsut 2007 bank holiday, just ahead of the new school year and was one of our most successful campaigns to date. Achieving in excess of £1 million worth of coverage on TV, radio, national press, regional press and consumer magazines both here in the Uk and abroad in places such as Canada, America and Australia, we are all really chuffed with the nomination. And we did it all for just £15K!
